This was fun to make!! You really must try it!

I received an e-mail with a youtube attachment, from my good friend Paula, on how to make these wonderful 3D punch flowers - they look very similar to the Splitcoaststampers.com Weekly Inkling Medalion spotlighted this week...coincidence!! Anyway, I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and had product to deliver, so I thought this would make the cutest 'Thank You' tag. What do you think?! I really lucked out with having a bag on hand that went well with the Raspberry Tart Designer paper that I used. The bag I picked up in a set at either Walmart or Michaels - I am always picking them up to have on hand - just love the sturdiness of the handles and stuff...

To see the youtube videosode, follow the links...there are 2 videos to watch for the full instructions, so both links are important.

For my flower, I used Stampin' Up! Raspberry Tart designer paper. I distressed the outside edge of the punched scallops with Encore Gold ink and I used matching gems that I had in my supply - not Stampin' Up! For the tag, I stamped "Thank You" from the Warmest Regards set onto whisper white cardstock, and used the matching tag punches from Stampin' Up! as well.

Thanks for looking and happy creating - and as always, all comments are welcome!!

Graduation is upon us!

This card was made in duplicate, 1 for each of the 2 nephews that graduate from highschool this year. This is a long note style card. I used the Great Grads stamp set, from Stampin' Up!, as well as brilliant blue paper & classic ink, accented with silver metallic cardstock (unknown maker) and whisper white cardstock. The dimensions of the card, in case you wanted to c.a.s.e. it are 61/2 X 31/2.

As always, thanks for looking and your comments are welcome!!

Gosh it has been a while....

I have finally found time to sit down and use my new copic markers...yeah!! I have fallen for the Whipper Snapper Design images! The little boy and girl images are just adorable. The card I have posted does not have a purpose, yet but it will. The colors seemed right when I first made the card but maybe I could have done better with the wagon and flowers. There is some smudging of the embossing powder, which was very disappointing - I thought it was all heat set okay, but maybe black craft ink with clear powder would be better. I like how the embossing keeps the colors in line, rather than runny. Thanks for looking, and all comments are welcome!
